Technology mediated teacher education:
teacher's digital skills in an extension course

Digital Information and Communication Technologies are changing teacher training. The objective of this work is to analyze the teaching digital competences discussed in an extension course at the Federal University of Ceará. The exploratory and descriptive, quali-qualitative research involved 27,231 participants and was carried out with an adaptation of the Ikanos evaluation instrument. The research evaluated the sample through a question from each category of the evaluation instrument. Partial results showed that teachers have affinity with the information area, but need to improve their knowledge in technological innovations.
