Abstract

This article takes the artistic work "My world yours", by photographer Alexandre Sequeira in partnership with two teenagers from Pará, as a motto to raise contributions to the field of education. Our hypothesis is that artistic experiences help to build us as narrators and are amplifiers of human experience. We developed three essential considerations that the work raises. The first is that the notion of experience is central to putting artistic creations and educational experiences into dialogue. Second, we think about the analog photographic techniques as an important tool that provides not only the experience of a different temporality, but of another relationship with the world that is given by the narration. Finally, we turn to the images produced as a way to deepen our reflections about the emancipatory character of the visual dialogue between subjects who live in different territories.
